The Timberwolves beat the Magic 118-111 in the NBA regular season. After the game, the Timberwolves coach Finch was interviewed by the media and commented on the game.
Finch said: “We’ve had a lot of tough games this season, so it’s really rare to have a happy moment like this. The players are enjoying themselves and working well with each other and I think everyone has found their role in the team.”
When asked about the atmosphere on the bench and the use of a different line-up to close out the game, Finch responded: “We have a lot of energy on the bench at the moment and the atmosphere is what we want whether the players are playing or not. We talked about it before, and when it comes to the playoffs, everyone needs to be on their game. We need players who are eager to play at the end and we have a lot of them in our squad. We’ve been talking about it all season, and every game night can be different.”
Vinci also paid special tribute to DI Vincenzo’s performance: “He made a huge contribution to the team’s victory. You know, he’s been able to make all kinds of great plays in the game, whether it’s jumping shots, blocking shots, rebounding, stealing, shooting, he’s been amazing.”
