In the NBA regular season, the Celtics beat the Heat 103-91 on the road, in which player Holiday played well, and became one of the highlights of the game.
Holiday finished with 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting and 5-of-8 3-pointers in 35 minutes, adding four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks. The performance not only helped the Celtics win but also set the record for the most points in a regular-season game of Holiday’s Celtics career.
It’s worth noting that Holiday’s 25 points were his most in a regular-season game since joining the Celtics, despite his previous performances, including 28 points in Game 1 of last year’s Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers and 26 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
Holiday’s five 3-pointers in the game tied his single-game high this season. He had previously hit five 3-pointers against the Mavericks. His record for three-pointers in a regular season was six against the Spurs last season.
The Cavaliers have outscored the Grizzlies by more than 20 points in the other games. Green had seven points, two rebounds and two assists on 2-of-6 shooting in five minutes off the bench. Jackson had six points and one rebound on 2-for-6 shooting in 16 minutes as a starter, and the performance of these players was worth watching.
Holiday’s outstanding performance not only enhanced the fighting force of the Celtics but also brought wonderful moments for the fans. Expect him to continue to play well in future games and win more victories for the Celtics.
