Then, Leonard talked about the team’s next opponent, the Cavaliers. “The Cavaliers have been playing very well and have been playing very well individually,” he said. They were great on both ends of the floor.” Leonard spoke highly of the Cavaliers, which foretold a tough matchup for the Clippers.
Finally, Leonard stressed the need for the team to focus on defence. “We’re going to focus on defence,” he said. “That’s my focus.” As the core of the team’s defence, Leonard’s defensive attitude and concentration have a great impact on the team. His words also indicate that the Clippers will pay more attention to defense in the next game, and strive to improve the team’s defensive level.
