Reaves said after the game: although the loss is regrettable, but the performance of my teammates is satisfactory

The Lakers lost 126-131 to the Nuggets in the NBA regular season. Reaves went all out for 39 minutes, hitting 13 of 26 from the field, including 4 of 10 3-pointers and all seven free throws. He finished with 37 points, eight rebounds, 13 assists and four steals, but failed to help his team win. After the game, he spoke to the media.

Speaking about the loss, Reaves said: “It feels really bad to lose, but I’m very happy with the performance of our teammates in the locker room tonight. Everyone gave it their all.”

For his teammate Knecht’s performance, Reaves gave full support: “I told Knecht I don’t care how many shots he takes tonight, the important thing is that he is willing to try, to fight.”

Reaves also shared what he learned from the Lakers’ trip: “We lost four games on the road, which was pretty bad. But as Redick said, a week ago, everyone was predicting ‘the Lakers would advance in five games.’ So we weren’t distracted by these outside voices, and we knew what we needed to do.”

After the game, the Lakers are in fifth place with a 40-25 record, just 2.5 wins ahead of the Warriors for sixth place in the Western Conference, and Reaves and his teammates will continue to work hard to prepare for the upcoming games.
