The Lakers fall to fourth, and the Grizzlies rise to third! Morant 28+7 assists, Kennard burst 30 points

The Grizzlies host the Jazz in a showdown of the NBA regular season. Despite leading by as many as 19 points, the Grizzlies withstood a furious Utah comeback. The Grizzlies went on an 8-0 run to the edge, the Jazz 122-115 for their fourth straight win and third win of the season. With the victory, the Grizzlies moved past the Lakers into third place in the Western Conference, while the Lakers slipped to fourth and the Jazz suffered an embarrassing seventh straight loss.

In the game, the Grizzly Bears Kennard played well, scoring 30 points and four rebounds, while Morant also had 28 points and seven assists, for a bright performance. Bain added 17 points, five rebounds and nine assists, while Pippen Jr. had 11 points, six assists and four steals. For the Jazz, Sexton and Collins each scored 22 points, Markkanen had 14 points and six rebounds, Clarkson had 12 points and Collier had 11,

The Grizzlies trailed in the first quarter but rallied with a 13-2 run. Entering the second quarter, the Grizzlies continued to increase their lead, leading the Jazz by 19 points. The Jazz didn’t give up, however, using a 10-2 run to close the gap late in THE second quarter. Entering the second half, the Jazz kept up the scoring and tied it late in the third quarter. But the Grizzlies came back with an 8-0 run at the end of the quarter to seal the win.

The Grizzlies have won their last three games, while the Jazz are mired in a losing streak. The Grizzlies improved to 42-24 after the game, while the Jazz remained mired at 15-51. In addition, this game was the third meeting between the two teams this season, and the Grizzlies won all of them. Overall, the Grizzlies rallied to third place in the Western Conference with the win, while the Lakers slipped to fourth because of the rest of the team’s performance. The Jazz need to adjust as soon as possible, out of the shadow of the losing streak.
