Manchester United manager Amorim praised Mount! Mount recently returned from injury, ending a three-month absence. Amorim was pleased to have Mount back and spoke highly of his performance.
“I have a lot of appreciation for Mount,” Amorim said. “He did everything well and won over the team. He was a great talent, he was a European champion and he always gave his best. The team needs a good player like him. Mount is passionate and hardworking and deserves all of our support.”
Mount, 26, joined United from Chelsea for 64.2 million euros in July 2023 but has been plagued by injuries and has made just 33 appearances, scoring one goal and one assist.
