Bayern Munich have announced that they have signed a new contract with young talent Jose Musciara until June 30, 2030.
The official announcement details the happy news: Musiala, a 21-year-old Germany international, joined Bayern Munich from Chelsea’s academy in the summer of 2019 and has worked his way up through the ranks at Bayern Munich before rapidly rising through the first-team ranks and making his name at the top level.
“This is the best gift for the club and its fans on the eve of the 125th anniversary,” said Bayern Munich president Heiner. It is for players like Musiala that fans flock to the stadium. He is a truly exceptional player and sometimes you feel as if he is beyond gravity. Thanks to our sports management and board, today is a great day to celebrate Bayern Munich.”
Bayern Munich Chief Executive Drayson also expressed his opinion: “This contract extension is an important step for both Mousciara and Bayern Munich. Mascara has made significant progress again this season and we are very happy to continue to play alongside him. Despite his young age, he has become an iconic figure for us. With his unending love for the game, strong team spirit and deep connection with Bayern Munich, he perfectly embodies our ‘Mia san mia’ philosophy. What belongs to us will never be separated.”
According to the well-known journalist Falke, Mousciara’s new contract contains a release clause of up to 175 million euros, while the player’s annual salary is expected to be about 25 million euros.
