According to Sky Sports reporter Plettenberg in Germany, Niko Kovac is interested in becoming Borussia Dortmund’s new coach, and his management team has held preliminary talks with the club, but the two sides are still divided over the details of the contract.

Kovacic is expected to sign a short-term contract until the end of the season.
The contract will come with a one – or two-year renewal option to ensure more possibilities for future cooperation.
