TA exposed the details of the deal: Tel joined Tottenham on loan, the contract contains 55 million euros optional buyout clause

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for The transfer of young striker Matisse Tell, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

Ornstein has revealed that 19-year-old Matisseter will join Spurs on loan with an optional buyout clause worth 55 million euros (45.7 million pounds). In addition, Ter will sign a long-term six-year contract with Spurs, which shows the importance and expectations Tottenham have for the young player.

Tottenham and Bayern Munich have agreed to a deal for Tel and the player has completed a pre-transfer medical. He is expected to sign for his new club soon.

However, the transfer process for Tel has not been smooth. It was previously reported that Bayern Munich were initially looking to sell Ter permanently or include a forced buyout clause in their loan agreement, but that would depend on them being able to receive a suitable offer. Bayern are in no rush to sell Tel and the club has not completely ruled out the possibility of him staying. Before this, Arsenal and Manchester United had shown strong interest in the French striker.

Despite this, the final Spurs with their sincerity and conditions to win the success of the Telle joined. Even last week, when a preliminary agreement was reached between Tottenham and Bayern, Terl said he wanted to stay at Bayern and planned to reassess his future in the summer, but ultimately chose to join Spurs.

Ter, who is currently valued at 30 million euros, has played 14 games for Bayern Munich this season, starting four times, but has yet to score. However, Spurs believe the young striker has great potential and expects him to contribute more to the team and score more goals in the future.
