Wayne Rooney has said Manchester United need to make a big change: only B fee and Menu, 10-15 should leave the team

Former Manchester United star Wayne Rooney has expressed deep concern about the current state of the club in an interview. He said the team is in urgent need of a major personnel change.

Rooney said: “United need a big change in their squad and I think there are 10 or 15 players who should leave the club. Of course, it can’t be done overnight, but there is a negative mentality in the team and no one wants to step up and take responsibility.

“There has been a culture at the club where losing is too easy to accept and players will say things like ‘on to the next game’ after the game. They should show some fight on the pitch and fight hard. It hurts me to see what Manchester United are doing. Having played for Manchester United for many years, I have a deep emotional attachment to the team and I have always wanted it to do well. I have children at the academy and it fills me with regret to see the state of the team.”
